Speaking at a press conference organized by Independent Power Producers´ Association on Sunday, Sunil Sharma, the developer of Event Square, said the participants can post comment on the presentation in the summit, post photos, news, videos, blog and presentation updates, and come into connection with any participants in the seminar. The app is available in iOS and Android platforms free of cost.The power summit will see participation of about 500 delegates, including power developers, investors and construction companies, from different countries.
“This is the first time a Nepali app is being used in the conference of this scale,” Sharma claimed Sharma. “It will also help the participants to be in constant communication even after the summit is over.”
Those, who couldn´t make it to the summit, can download the app and enter into the power summit virtually with event code 0371 and be updated of the entire summit, a press statement issued on Sunday said.
With the theme of hastening the pace of hydropower development, IPPAN is organizing the fourth edition of Power Summit after a gap of four years. IPPAN hopes the summit will energize power sector to meet energy requirements.
