Nepal U-16 starts with win in Sikkim

KATHMANDU (REPUBLICA): The U-16 national football team of Nepal made a winning start to its Governor"s Gold Cup campaign on Saturday. Nepal U-16 defeated Indian Railway FC 1-0 at the Paljor Stadium in Sikkim, India to advance into the semifinals of the competition. Kiran Sunar scored the winner for Nepal in the 37th minute. Nepal will face the I-League second division team George Telegraph on Tuesday.
