Ten teams will participate in the tournament that will be held on March 8 to 18 in Kathmandu, said Tarak Mani Dixit, secretary and spokesperson for the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN). This is the first time that ACC is organizing U-16 tournament. Following the dispute over age verification in U-15 and U-17 tournaments, ACC decided to organize only one tournament of U-16.
Athletes shortlisted for SAG training
KATHMANDU, Sept 17: Nepal Amateur Athletics Association on Thursday shortlisted 56 athletes for the first phase closed-camp training for the South Asian Games.
The first phase of the camp will be organized on October 1 to November 17 in Kathmandu. The second phase selection will be held in mid-November.

According to the Association, there will be a time trial in October 15 and the selected athletes will participate in the Third Asian Indoor Championship and 18th Asian Athletics Championship.

KATHMANDU, Sept 17: Nepal Democratic Sports Journalist Association (NSDJA) is set to declare special sports award. A meeting held under the chairmanship of its vice president Krishna Raj Khanal on Thursday decided to announce the award on October 10 and also to hold general assembly on the same day.
