Nepal scout marks diamond jubilee; organizes rally

KATHMANDU, Nov 24: The Nepal Scouts organized a rally Saturday morning on the occasion of the diamond jubilee of the Nepal Scouts and 100 years of the World Girl Guide and Girl Scouts.



The rally starting from Dasarath Stadium converged at Scout Office Lainchaur in the capital.[break]



The chief guest of the rally was NPC Member and Prof. Shiva Kumar Rai and scouts officials of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur had participated, said co-Chief Commissioner, Puspalata Bhattarai.



Awareness programs will be run until March 10, 2013, said Bhattarai.
