Nepal lose heavily in hockey match

DHAKA, Jan 30: Nepal lost their first match in hockey to India durig the 11th South Asian Games (SAG), Dhaka on Saturday. India thrashed Nepal 21-0 in the group stage match played at the Moulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium. This is the first time Nepal participated in hockey after the 1995 Madras SAG where India had defeated Nepal 22-1.
