Gangaram Kandel and Harikala Kandel were elected as the general secretary and the treasurer respectively. The assembly also elected Jiwan Timilsina, Lina Gautam, Rajan Kafle, Bhim Gautam, Nabaraj Koirala and Mana Kumar Dhamala as members.
The society was formed in 200 to forge strong relation between Irish and Nepalese community in Ireland, help boost friendship between two countries, support charity organizations, promote tourism and cultural exchange between the two countries.
