Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Arun Dhital is leading the Nepali side while his Indian counterpart Satish Mehta heads the Indian side at the meeting of the Nepal-India Joint Consultation Mechanism, according to Rudra Nepal, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting starts on Friday.
Sources said officials from the neighboring country are discussing the proposed Surkhet airbase, military training for Nepali security personnel and integrating military training.
