According to an official, who participated in the meeting, the Nepali side raised the issue of "atrocities" perpetrated by India Seema Surakcha Bal along the Nepal-India border.
Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs Sudhir Shah is leading the Nepali side while KK Mittal, joint secretary at the Indian Home Ministry, is leading the Indian side in the meeting that will set agendas of home secretary-level meeting between the two countries in the near future.
The home secretaries of both the sides have not met since 2009. The meeting is also expected to discuss the Indian cooperation to Nepal Police and Armed Police Force.
