Dipendra Chand, who scored 43, was named man of the match. Sanam Shrestha (24) and Sharad Khadka (23) contributed to the score. Other batsmen reaching double-digit include Nischal Pandey (14) and Rajiv Shah (11).
Singapore defeated Hong Kong by 133 runs in another semifinal at the IOE Ground. Singapore posted 230/8 in 40 overs after winning the toss and bowled out Hong Kong for just 97 runs in 30.1 overs.
Meanwhile, Kuwait defeated Thailand by 68 runs in the seventh-place playoff match at the BSAM Ground. Kuwait scored 159/7 and bowled out Thailand for 91 runs in 21.4 overs.
On Monday, Hong Kong and Malaysia play the third-place playoff at BSAM Ground while Bahrain and Saudi Arabia will compete for the fifth-place at IOE Groud.
