Nepal Airlines suspends Kathmandu–Dubai flights until Sunday due to tensions in Iran

The airline stated that the Kathmandu–Dubai flights scheduled for March 7 and 8, and the Dubai–Kathmandu flights scheduled for March 7 and 8, will not operate.

KATHMANDU, March 6: Nepal Airlines has announced the suspension of its Kathmandu–Dubai and Dubai–Kathmandu flights until Sunday.



The airline stated that the Kathmandu–Dubai flights scheduled for March 7 and 8, and the Dubai–Kathmandu flights scheduled for March 7 and 8, will not operate.

The disruption comes amid heightened tensions following a joint attack by the United States and Israel on Iran, which has affected air traffic in the Gulf region.


Nepal Airlines has urged passengers to check flight schedules and confirm with the airline before coming to the airport for flights to Dubai, Doha, or Dammam.
