KATHMANDU, June 3: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) stated that all its aircraft are currently in operation. Issuing a press release today, the corporation provided an update on its technical, financial, and administrative status.
According to NAC, all six aircraft under its ownership: two A330 wide-body, two A320 narrow-body, and two DHC-6 Twin Otters, are operational after undergoing international-level “C-checks” and technical inspections.

The corporation said the engines of its A320 aircraft have been repaired under the “Lease with MRO” system as per international standards. One engine lease return process is in its final stage.
NAC also highlighted income generation not only through passenger flights but also from ground handling and cargo services. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the corporation said it managed to sustain operations and maintain revenue balance.
Internal preparations are also underway for flight operations from Gautam Buddha International Airport and Pokhara Regional International Airport. NAC is working to enhance manpower, equipment, facilities, and necessary approvals for service expansion at these airports.
