Ncell halves 'Pay As You Go' tariff

KATHMANDU, March 12: Ncell has slashed its 'Pay As You Go' tariff, the tariff applicable when a customer is using data without any pack, by 50 percent, making data services more affordable to the customers.

Issuing a statement on Thursday, said with the tariff revision, Ncell prepaid customers would now be able to use data without any pack at Rs 3 per MB, excluding taxes, down from Rs 6 per MB.


 

The new tariff came into effect from Thursday. “As a number of customers prefer to use data without any pack, we have halved the 'Pay As You Go' tariff as part of our continuous effort and commitment to provide quality data services at affordable rates,” Milan Sharma, corporate communications expert of Ncell, said in the statement. Ncell also offers various data packs, subscribing to which customers can use data at as less as 30 paisa per MB, excluding taxes, according to the statement.
