Leaders have termed the meet as positive.
Chairman of Tarai Madhes Sadhbhawana Party Mahendra Raya Yadav said the meet at NC President Sushil Koirala’s residence in Maharajgunj dwelled on latest political developments and ended on a positive note.
According to him, the leaders discussed the 11-point demands of the front.
A leader attending the meet said the main opposition requested the UDMF to agree on the constitution amendment bill registered by the erstwhile government.

NC Vice-president Ram Chandra Poudel said that the meeting headed towards positive direction and has reached closer to a conclusion.
Stating that the next meeting with the UDMF would be held after holding discussion with other parties, he said, "We should move ahead by forging consensus among all parties. Effort in this regard is underway."
Similarly, General Secretary of the Tarai-Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP), Sarbendranath Shukla, said that discussion with NC on different issues was underway and it was headed towards positive path.
Shukla said, "Further discussion is necessary with the main opposition party regarding contentious issues of the new constitution and still remaining to reach to the conclusion."
He expressed the belief that a conclusion would be drawn in the next meeting after doing homework if there was no situation to reach to the conclusion on some matters
Upendra Yadav, Mahanta Thakur, Mahendra Raya and Laxman Lal Karna from UDMF reached Koirala’s residence.
An emergency cabinet meeting on Sunday endorsed a three-point political roadmap, which was earlier agreed upon among the major political parties.
