KATHMANDU, May 21: Nepali Congress (NC) has reiterated that it would help to extend Constituent Assembly term after the implementation of its ten-point demand.

NC leaders have been warning of serious consequences if the current coalition of Maoists and UML chose to extend the term of CA on the basis of two-thirds majority in parliament.

They have also maintained that peace and democratic constitution are not possible as long as Khanal-led government "formed on the basis of clandestine seven-point deal" remains in power.
