He said that his party would settle the issue of power-sharing with the Nepali Congress (NC).
Speaking at the same function, Nepali Congress leader Dr. Ram Sharan Mahat said that Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal should step down to facilitate the formation of a national consensus government.
"We are ready to accept Maoist leading the government but the peace process must move ahead," he said.
