Koirala also pointed out the need that the incumbent Prime Minister should resign from the post after mid-April to give outlet to the country.

On a query, he replied that the peace process has been stalled with maneuverings by Maoist by undermining the spirit of the seven-point deal.

He further said the time has emerged for all to walk along the edge of sword when Maoists are still pretending and attempting to confuse others.

The NC President made it clear that the demand of ´One Madhes One Province is not scientific and practical, arguing the idea to carve out provinces based on ethnic lines would lead the country to disintegration.

NC Vice-president Ram Chandra Poudel said the Nepali Congress is not in favour of backtracking to the 1990 Constitution and autocratic regime and monarchy in the country.

The party will move on ground of federal democracy, he clarified.

NC central member Dr. Shekhar Koirala said the mass entry into the national army would make no good for the country.
