NC leader Angdembe no more

ILAM, July 13: Former minister and Nepali Congress (NC) leader Prem Raj Angdembe passed away on Saturday. He was 84.



He died at Om Hospital during the course of treatment at Chabahil, Kathmandu at around 3 am today.



According to his nephew and NC´s central committee member Bhisma Raj Angdembe, he was suffering from blood pressure and diabetes for last four months.



Angdembe, who born in Nawami Danda VDC, Panchthar district in 2015 BS, had served as Food, Agriculture and Village Development minister in the BP Koirala-led government in 2015 BS.



Angdembe was also elected as member of upper house parliament in 2049. Angdembe had been living in Ilam Miunicipality-2, Ilam of late.



Angdame is survived by two sons and two daughters.
