BIRATNAGAR, Sept 10: Nepali Congress Central Committee member Mohammad Aftab Alam said there is no alternative to going for fresh mandate of the people if the peace and constitution drafting processes were not completed within the next three months.

He said the necessity of the constitution will end if the nation failed to conclude the peace process and get new constitution in the stipulated timeframe.[break]

Talking to RSS correspondent in Biratnagar on Saturday, NC leader Alam said Madhesh-centric parties could not address the national and Madheshi issues as they have joined the government just out of lust for power.
