Party Spokesperson Dilendra Prasad Badu said the CWC began discussing the report on the issues raised by the ethnic leaders of the party about the state restructuring.[break]
"The report has suggested the party to build a concept that addresses the identity of all ethnicities and strongly discourages ethnic conflict considering the fact that Nepal is multi-ethnic, multi-religious, multi-linguistic and multi-cultural country," he added.
Leaders speaking at today´s meeting suggested the party to give some more time on the report to make it further clear on the number of the province and their naming and demarcation.
The central members were of the view that the party needs to become clear about the state restructuring before the coming mahasamiti meeting.
Spokesperson Badu further said a political proposal was also presented in the meeting and discussion on it would be held next day.
The central members close to senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba have written a note of dissent on CWC´s decision on formation of departments.
They have accused party president of forming departments without holding discussion with them.
However, the CWC meeting had unanimously endorsed the decision on department formation on Friday.
