NC CWC meeting rejects President Thapa’s resignation

KATHMANDU, March 23: The Nepali Congress (NC) Central Working Committee (CWC) has rejected the resignation tendered by NC President Gagan Kumar Thapa.

The CWC meeting, held at the party’s central office in Sanepa, Lalitpur, decided to reject Thapa’s resignation submitted on March 17, according to Acting Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Dulal.


Dulal said the committee rejected the resignation, citing the party’s crucial responsibility to hold its 15th general convention.
