KATHMANDU, Jan 13: The Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting of the Nepali Congress has been postponed.
In a press statement issued on Tuesday, NC party General Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel said the meeting, initially scheduled for 11 AM on Tuesday at the party’s central office in Sanepa, Lalitpur, has been rescheduled for 1 PM the same day.

Meanwhile, the anti-establishment faction supporting the Special General Convention—including General Secretaries Gagan Kumar Thapa and Bishwa Prakash Sharma—has hinted that they will not participate in the meeting.
The Special General Convention, which began on Sunday at Bhrikutimandap, is now on its third day, discussing organizational reports presented by the duo of Thapa and Sharma.
Originally scheduled to conclude on Monday, the convention has been extended to Tuesday as top NC leaders work to reach a consensus.
