ANFA has proposed Pokhara, Butwal and Birtamod to host the National League. “Pokhara, ANFA Technical Center in Butwal and Birtamod have been proposed. Pokhara is almost fixed and the other two could also host some matches,” said Lalit Krishna Shrestha, vice-president and spokesperson of ANFA.[break]
He made it clear that the opening match of the league will be played in Pokhara. “The league will begin from Pokhara but it is yet not decided about the number of games in a city,” said Shrestha. “We´ll finalize everything as soon as possible,” he added.
Top eight teams of the Martyrs Memorial Red Bull A Division League and two teams selected from recently-concluded Regional League will participate in the National League.
