CHITWAN, Sept 1: On hearing the news that the country’s most popular and loved music bands and artists would be performing, the ground of Campa Chaur in Narayanghat came alive with music lovers. Tuborg’s ‘Let’s Get Loud’ concert, which was more than three hours long, saw neither the artists nor the audience tire.

When singer Abhaya Subba sang ‘Ramauna Deu Hami Lai, Gau Na Deu Hami Lai’ there was no one who did not sing and dance along with her. Along with the youth, the older crowd also made their presence known at the concert. Nima Rumba performed some of his best songs and the crowd couldn’t have enough of the singer’s performance, asking for an encore.[break]

Bands like 1974 AD, Robin and the New Revolution, Harmony Band entertained all the music lovers gathered for the concert. Abhaya remarked, “Chitwan’s audience is as strong as the tigers found in the jungles here.”

The next round of concert will be held in Dharan on September 14.

Tuborg’s ‘Let´s Get Loud’ concert commenced on August 10 at Nepalgunj and will come to a grand conclusion in Kathmandu on October 5. Tuborg Musical Trucks are also part of the concert which the organizers hope will help to encourage local musical talent.
