Meena Bogati,28, a resident of Dharmapur in Daiji-3 of Kanchanpur died on Wednesday night, while undergoing treatment at Mahakali zonal hospital. She had reportedly consumed milk laced with poison along with her three children ranging from three to five years old.They were rushed to the hospital by their neighbours. However, Meena died in course of treatment, according to police inspector at District Police Office, Kanchanpur Karna Bahadur Bam.
The three kids including one son and two daughters of Meena have been taken to Khatima in neighbouring India after treatment was not possible at the zonal hospital. The condition of Narendra, Jenu and Karuna is reported to be critical.
Meena was leaving with her kids alone, while her husband remains in India for employment. The reason behind the incident is not yet known, and an investigation is underway to find the truths, police said. RSS
