POKHARA: On the occasion of 2854 th edition of Sonam Loshar, Baidaam Tamang Samaj is organizing third edition of Miss Tamang. And the grooming session for the same have began from Tuesday and the organizers announced that the finale will also have a Loshar Musical Festival.
The finale is scheduled on Magh 4 at Pokhara Sabhagriha as per to the President of Baidaam Tamang Samaj, Jack Tamang. According to him this year the beauty pageant is open for all the interested girls from Tamang community of the nation and 18 participants have been chosen from Pokhara, Kathmandu and other places.
The beauty pageant is being organized every year to unleash the talent to Tamang girls along with promotion, conservation and transformation of Tamang community’s culture, costume, language among other as per program coordinator Jayanti Moktan.
