Ministers honoured

KATHMANDU, July 30: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bharat Mohan Adhikari, Energy Minister Gokarna Bista and senior litterateur Modhnath Prasid were honoured by Integrated Rural Development Forum.



Minister Adhikari was honoured for giving continuity to providing allowances to senior citizens and single women. [break]



Minister Bista was awarded for performing significant work in the energy sector. Litterateur Prasid was feted as a senior citizen.



Forum’s Chairman Suman Shrestha honoured them amid a function in the Capital on Saturday.



On the occasion, Minister Adhikari said the government has prioritized economic development of rural areas in this fiscal year’s budget.



Minister Bista said Nepal has to be developed by utilizing immense hydropower resources.
