Matrika's brigade shuts Birgunj

BIRGUNJ, Nov 4: Matrika Yadav-led Nepal Communist Party (Maoist) shut down Birgunj on Wednesday demanding release of Dhruba Yadav who was arrested after he beat up Kewal Bhandari, the chief of Birgunj Customs Office on Monday.



All the customs offices across the nation and all government offices in Paras district were closed on Tuesday in protest of the misbehavior.



The cadres of the party took to streets and disrupted vehicular movements while industries and education institutions also remain closed.
