KATHMANDU, Oct 20: The central committee meeting of the main opposition party Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) on Tuesday decided to ‘be more flexible’ for the political consensus.

According to party spokesperson Dinanath Sharma, the meeting concluded that if the President’s move regarding sacking of army chief mentioned somewhere in the common resolution proposal, the party would end the parliament disruption.[break]

“We will show flexibility for the end of political deadlock,” Sharma said. “However, we demand that there should be a mention of the President’s move somewhere in the common resolution.”

Sharma also added that the attempts to consensus and coordination would continue in Tuesday’s tea reception organized by the Maoists.

Meanwhile, RSS adds that the meeting reviewed the China trip of party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and other senior leaders and termed it ‘successful’.
