At Salleri, Solukhumbu, Dahal said that the party’s declaration of the states is in accordance of 12-point political agreement and the Interim Constitution.
He also accused parties that have denounced their state declaration as being the ‘anti-federalism parties’.
Meanwhile, the party also declared the Kirat autonomous state in Khotang. Maoist politburo member Gopal Kirati declared Solukhumbu, Udaypur, Khotang, Okhaldunga, Bhojpur and Sankhuwasabha districts as Kirat state.
Maoists have so far declared six states as a part of their protest. Earlier they announced Limbuwan, Kochila, Seti-Mahakali and Tharuwan states.
