Maoists call transport strike on Dec 25

KATHMANDU, Nov 25: A meeting of the Joint National People’s Movement affiliated with UCPN-Maoist Wednesday called a shutdown of transport services and industries on December 10.



A meeting of the movement held at Maoist headquarters decided to hold demonstrations on the initiative of party’s sister wings including the All Nepal National Independent Student Union-Revolutionary throughout the country, according to Maoist leader Netra Bikram Chand.
