KATHMANDU, Feb 6: It’s unlikely that the new government will include UCPN (Maoist) leaders on Sunday after the party canceled its standing committee meeting.

“We are still to discuss the representation in government so there is less chance that our leaders will take oath of office today,” Maoist leader Post Bahadur Bogati, who is also a member of the taskforce for formation of government, said.[break]

Bogati added that the committee meeting was canceled as chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal had a meeting with Prime Minister-elect Jhalanath Khanal.

He also hinted that Maoists are yet to finalize the power-sharing with CPN-UML. “UML also failed to finalize details, we are also yet to discuss,” he said.

The meeting was scheduled to finalize the names of the leaders to be included in the Khanal-led government.
