Maoist leader Pun admitted to TUTH

KATHMANDU, June 5: The UCPN (Maoist) leader and former commander of the PLA Nanda Kishore Pun alias Pasang has been admitted to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) for further treatment.



Earlier, Pun was being treated at Nepal Medical College, Jorpati, after suffering from kidney related diseases.[break]



He will receive all treatment services at the TUTH, Maharajgunj, and go through surgery in the hospital if so needed, according to his son, Dipesh.



Similarly, UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has urged the doctors involved in Pun´s treatment to make necessary preparations to send the ailing leader to Delhi, India, if his treatment was not possible in Nepal.
