“The UCPN (Maoist) which leads the government oppressed the people in the past and continues to do so at present,” said Oli addressing a function at Panauti, Kavre. [break]
“It is because the Maoists have not transformed into a democratic party.” He criticized some sitting ministers for stating publicly that they would not accept the new constitution.
“What should others understand when incumbent ministers make such statements” stated Oli.
He maintained that the new constitution will not be promulgated by the May 27 deadline.
