Issuing a press release, Maoist district secretary Tek Bahadur KC said Janamorcha cadres led by area chairman Gaurishwar Pandey attacked four Maoist cadres in Burtiwang.
Among the injured are district members Dadhiram Aryal, Ishwari Paudel, Vidyalaya Chand Aryal and Baburam Acharya. KC said the injured are being treated at a local health post.
Meanwhile, Police Inspector at the District Police Office Bikash Raj Khanal said he was unaware of the incident.
