According to police, Laxmi Prasad Tyata, 45, of Bhaktapu-8 died when he was run down by the chariot of Bhairavnath deity at around 9:55 pm yesterday.
Spokesperson, Sekhar Khanal at Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur told Republica Online that three persons including a cop were also injured during the rush in course of pulling the chariot.
According to him, all of them have returned home following treatment.
