KATHMANDU, Feb 18: Police have arrested a man for behaving indecently toward devotees and attacking police personnel at the Pashupatinath Temple during the occasion of Shivaratri.
The arrested individual has been identified as 25-year-old Rijan Shrestha, a permanent resident of Thuladamar in Makwanpur, currently living in Ward No. 13, Chagal, Kathmandu.

A video showing Shrestha attacking police personnel within the Pashupatinath Temple premises had gone viral on social media. Police said he has been taken into custody and further investigation is underway.
