Malaria claims one in Udayapur

UDAYAPUR, Nov 25: A girl died and dozen others have fallen sick due to malaria in Siddhipur VDC-9 of Udayapur district. According to VDC secretary Yuvaraj Bastola, Rita Rai, 9, daughter of Mahendra Rai, died of malaria on Tuesday afternoon.



Shyam Narayan Pandit, in-charge of Beltar Health Center, Udayapur, said deceased Rai had been taking medicines after the BP Koirala Health Science Foundation, Dharan, confirmed the disease on her.
