In his tweet on Tuesday, Bhattarai had said, “Feel sad that one of my favorite bureaucrats Rameshwor Khanal has joined an old, visionless party NC.” Bhattarai, however, had expressed his good wishes to him.
Mahat, who joined twitter only a few days ago, said in his tweet on Wednesday morning, “Enough of your vision Mr Laaldhwaj! From protracted people´s war, dictatorship of the proletariat to once discarded plural politics.”
Former Finance Secretary Khanal had joined NC amidst a special function held at the NC´s headquarters in Sanepa on Monday. NC President Sushil Koirala had welcomed him into the party by giving him NC´s general membership.
Not many political leaders in Nepal have joined social networking sites. Users of social networking sites have welcomed the move of political leaders joining social networking sites.
