Madhesi Tigers' in-charge arrested

ITAHARI, Jan 6: Sunsari district in-charge of Madhesi Mukti Tigers Gyandev Pandit has been arrested on the charge of forcefully collecting donations from businessmen and industrialists in Itahari and Inaruwa.



Chief of the District Police Office Bhupal Kumar Bhandari said that Pandit was arrested on the basis of complaints filed by the victims. Bhandari said legal action has been initiated against him.



The Purvanchal Industrialist Forum has said that the Tigers´ activists have been conducting donation drive against the party´s decision.
