Madhesi agitators detain NOC Regional Manager Sah for 4 hours

BIRGUNJ, Oct 5: The Madhesi agitators have taken Ashok Sah, Manager of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) Regional Office, Birgunj, under control for four hours on Monday morning.

The agitators took Sah under control while he was heading to Raxaul-based Indian Oil Corporation Depot to hold talks with the concerned authorities about the supply of petroleum products this morning.


Sah was detained for four hours to force him to support the ongoing demonstration before he was released, said Pradip Yadav, Chairman of Federal Socialist Forum Nepal, Parsa.

District Administration Office, Parsa said Sah is safe and sound.
