Stating that Nembang was against the federalism, LV cadres seized the stage and obstructed Nembang from attending the program. They made it clear that their protest was against the former CA speaker not the UML party. [break]
UML held a meeting with LV to resolve the dispute but it ended inconclusively. Following the obstruction, UML cancelled its assembly, UML Bajho Chairman Hemanta Rai said.
This is not the first time that Nembang has faced protests from Limbuwan cadres. They have been protesting the former CA chairman by greeting him with black flags for his ‘anti-federal stance’.
