Luitel, Pokharel Nagarik resident editors

KATHMANDU, April 10: Nepal Republic Media has appointed Guna Raj Luitel and Bishwamani Pokharel as resident editors for the newspaper´s regional editions to be published from Nepalgunj and Biratnagar.



Luitel and Pokharel have been appointed as resident editors to head the regional editions of Nagarik being published from Biratnagar and Nepalgunj starting April 13, first day of the Nepali New Year.[break]



The regional editions are being launched as part of the occasion marking NRM´s fourth year into publication from April 13.



The two regional editions, Purbeli Nagarik and Paschimeli Nagarik, will each have additional four pages along with a 16-page national edition of Nagarik.



Prior to this, Luitel was an executive editor of Annapurna Post. He previously served as news editor at Nagarik daily and Kantipur daily.



Likewise, Pokharel was serving as social affairs editor with Nagarik daily. He also has an extensive experience of working as a journalist with various newspapers and magazines including in Samaya weekly, Kantipur daily and Himal magazine.



Sample issues of Purbeli and Paschimeli will hit the newsstands Wednesday.
