'Let us make agriculture system scientific'

KANCHANPUR, June 30: Minister for Agriculture Haribol Gajurel has stressed the need to advance existing agriculture system in a more scientific manner. 



Inaugurating the stray cattle shed constructed at Nawadurga Community Forest in Shankarpur of Kanchanpur on Wednesday, Minister Gajurel said the government is coming up with perspective plan for agro sector development.

He claimed that the perspective plan will develop capacity of farmers and improve agro productivity. The plan includes construction of clod store in different parts of the country, announcement of crop, fruits and vegetable pocket areas and construction of purchase centre linking farmers' products to markets. 


"We have emphatically put the farmer’s pension plan", he said, adding the farmers would be able to reap benefits from the scheme. RSS
