Leaders keep mum after meeting with prez

KATHMANDU, Feb 20: Unable to make official their decision to make sitting chief justice the head of election government, top leaders of the four major political parties held a meeting with President Dr Ram Baran Yadav at his office in Shital Niwas on Wednesday.



The leaders walked away from the president’s office, opting not to speak to the media. United Democratic Medhesi Front leader Mahantha Thakur , however, said they informed the head of state about the ongoing political process for formation of election government. He also said time has not been fixed yet to see the chief justice.
