KATHMANDU, Jan 8: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chair Rajendra Lingden held a meeting on Thursday.
Lingden visited Lamichhane’s residence in Hattigauda to invite him to a tea reception being organized by the RPP on January 11 on the occasion of Prithvi Jayanti. RPP Spokesperson Mohan Shrestha said that Chair Lamichhane expressed his commitment to attend the event.

The RPP has invited leaders from various political parties and representatives of diplomatic missions to its program scheduled to be held at Bhrikutimandap on the same day.
According to Shrestha, the two party leaders discussed the upcoming elections and ways to ensure that the electoral process remains fair and free from fear.
They also discussed the country’s political stability, the current political situation and national as well as international affairs.
