KC was given away the award for his contribution to science and technology. KC recently showcased a car operated by solar power.
He was given an award letter and Rs 15,000 by educationist George John and botanist Tirtha Bahadur Shrestha on Friday.
The award is given every year to individuals below the age of 16 who show their talent in the sector of literature, arts, music, science, sports or education.
