“The festival is going well. It’s meeting our expectation,” said Thapa. A panel discussion on Gurkhas was the highlight of the day. Moderated by Dr Suresh Dhakal and accompanied by panel members, Fatik Thapa, former Member of the Parliament and Jhalak Subedi, writer, the discussion went well, stated Thapa.
On Monday, the top 10 winners of the nationwide short film competition ‘Educating Nepal’ is scheduled to be announced at 10:30 in the morning in City Hall, Bhrikutimandap. The top three winners of the five minute film will also be awarded in the same ceremony. Another interesting event for the day will be a quiz by Kunda Dixit titled ‘Know Your Himal’ where audiences can learn interesting facts and also win on the spot prizes.
