The Forum staged a protest rally in Gothalapani area of Baitadi on Thursday against the move. It has demanded that Kanchanpur and Kailali districts also be incorporated in the proposed federal state.
“The Khaptad state without the Tarai districts will be handicapped,” said Forum Coordinator Pushkar Raj Joshi.
