Yadav welcomed the JTMM leaders and cadres during a secret function at Sundarpur in Mahottarai district. Yadav said JTMM leaders joined his party after talks for six months.
“I have been calling for working unity among various Tarai groups to safeguard our rights ever since I quit the UCPN (Maoist),” said Yadav while welcoming the new entrants.
He also disclosed that he is holding talks with armed Tarai group leaders Jaya Krishna Goit, Prithvi Singh and Ram Bilash. Majority of the JTMM supporters who joined CPN-M have criminal cases against them in various police offices in the Tarai. But Yadav said these people have now improved their conducts irrespective of their past.
“Those who do not have criminal charges have been made public today [Monday],” Yadav further said. Adhikari said that he has been misguided to date and is committed to work for liberation.
