KATHMANDU, June 22: A meeting of the central executive committee of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has kicked off at the party’s central office in Balkumari.
The meeting was summoned as preparations were underway for the party's central committee meeting scheduled to begin on June 24 and the party's Statute Convention taking place from June 25, according to the party’s Central Publicity Department Chief Purna Basnet.

In today's meeting, executive committee members will give their opinions on a draft of the party's proposed statute and the meeting’s conclusions will be presented to the party's political committee.
